In early June our Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation students started their journey to becoming Whitewater Guides with an Introduction to Whitewater Skills week.
Our students spent the week learning about feature of moving water and the skills needed to make the most of some of the local rivers in Hobart. The beautiful Picton, Huon and Derwent Rivers were the locations of choice where students got the opportunity to try rafting and kayaking.
